Due to popular demand, Mamie Taylor's has added a second Low Country Pig Roast to the Dine Out Vancouver Festival!
Nothing beats some good ol' fashioned comfort food in the dead of winter. Mamie's Low Country Pig Roast is a Southern-inspired, three-course long-table dinner. Start off with a custom welcome cocktail and a family-style spread of warm country biscuits; pimento cheese with chili crackers; devilled eggs with country ham and parsley mayo; and house-made pickles and relishes.
For the main course, Chef Jeff Koop will carve and serve whole roasted suckling pig, along with house-made Baton Rouge hot sauce, Augusta-style BBQ pit beans, Mississippi-braised greens and freshly baked bread. Finish off your trip Down South with baked apple pie served with Kentucky whisky pudding, and chocolate fudge brownies.
