His menu is rooted in balancing intense fresh flavours with seasonal ingredients and locally sourced products, while respecting the tradition and the origin of each recipe.
With inspiration found in continuous travel, the menu at Maenam is ever-changing but always served with Thai flare and enjoyed in its traditional context, be it family style dining or riffs on Thai street food.

Appetizer 1: Creamy hot and sour soup of chicken thighs salted chicken thighs braised in coconut cream, with oyster mushroom, lemongrass and galangal or cloudy hot and sour soup of prawns our version of this classic soup or steamed mussels with lemongrass and thai basil served with nahm jim sauce or creamy mushroom soup *veg galangal, coconut cream, oyster mushrooms or green papaya salad long beans, carrot, garlic, bird's eye chilies, dried shrimp, peanuts


Entree 1: Salad: caramelized pork belly palm sugar laced with spices cooked with tender pork belly and herbs or Grilled salmon salad young coconut, mint, coriander, ikura or crispy chicken salad fried chicken thighs, lemongrass, pomelo or Banana blossom salad *veg toasted sesame, fried shallots, tamarind and palm sugar dressing


Entree 2: Curry: Panning curry of beef chuck our version of this popular curry, rich with peanuts and thai basil or southern style turmeric curry of coconut and seafood pungent and rich, with local mussels, clams and lingcod or aromatic curry of roasted chicken one of the oldest styles of curries, oven roasted sweet onions or aromatic curry of assorted vegetables *veg seasonal vegetables, confit potatoes, longans


Entree 3: Stir Fry: 3 Flavour pork ribs fresh baby corn, thai basil, wild ginger, smoky and aromatic or 8 spiced lingcod crispy lingcod, served in a caramelized tamarind and palm sugar sauce, topped with 8 different thai aromatics and spices or stir fried black pepper hanger steak fresh baby corn, thai basil rich and aromatic or stir fried long aubergine *veg japanese long aubergine, soy bean paste, thai basil


Dessert 1: Thai Iced Tea Panacotta or chocolate Pot de creme or Rice doughnuts

Special Notes: Thai meals are best enjoyed when dishes are shared amongst family and friends. Traditionally, each dish should contribute to the balance of four main styles: hot, sour, sweet and salty. Chef An's dishes are based on authentic Thai recipes with innovative twists that allow for local, sustainably harvested, organic ingredients whenever possible. $30 per person for a complete Thai dining experience please choose one starter, salad, curry, and a stir fry to share between two people. Dessert, however is too good to share! please choose one per person.
