To us, there is nothing more versatile and comforting than a simple bowl of rice. In 2017, we travelled to Japan as friends on a self-guided culinary tour. Unknowingly, this trip eventually sparked a passion project that would bring a new taste to the downtown Vancouver lunch scene. Beginning with high-quality ingredients and slow-cooked with care, our hope is to bring delicious rice bowls not normally seen in a quick-service setting. Whether it’s shaved ribeye that’s roasted for 7 hours or crispy garden vegetable curry, we take the time so you don’t have to. We cook what we love to eat and we hope you’ll love it too.
