Edible Canada was born in 2006 to celebrate Canadian cuisine in many ways. Exploring new ingredients, creating and serving dishes inspired by the land and our many cultures and curating products from small Canadian artisans at the heart of beautiful Granville Island is just a small part of what we do.
Our full-service bistro focuses on celebrating Canadian cuisine which we have since come to define as ‘local, sustainable & seasonal ingredients in the hands of many cultures’. The bistro on Granville Island features a demo kitchen, a private dining space, an expansive patio and a take-out window for tasty bites to go. We are open daily for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Our artisan retail store (located adjacent the bistro & online) is a foodies' heaven, packed full of the highest quality Canadian-made artisanal food items from maple syrup and smoked salmon, to flavoured sea salts and a wide selection of locally made chocolates and other treats. Our team is on hand to recommend unique flavours, seasonal favourites, and perfect pairings.
