From Farmers Market to Restaurant in Downtown Vancouver Owners Irina and Sergii moved from Ukraine to Beautiful British Columbia in 2012. They began by renting tables at local bakeries at night and selling their goods at farmers' markets in the morning. In 2015, they opened their first brick-and-mortar location in New Westminster, gradually expanding their menu to include more Ukrainian dishes Their commitment has always remained the same – to use only natural, local, and organic ingredients. The menu now features organic Sourdough, Chocolate Babka, pastries, as well as hot dishes like Borsch, Cabbage Rolls, Handmade Pierogies, and much more After the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, Kozak hired more than 100 refugees and continues to provide financial support to the Ukrainian Army
