    The Portuguese Community of Vancouver, or PCOV, has a vibrant history that traces its roots back to April 1962 when a dedicated group of individuals came together at the corner of Fraser and Kingsway. What started as a simple gathering spot for card games and soccer enthusiasts quickly blossomed into a cherished hub for the local Portuguese community.
